Since graduating from the Helsinki Arts and Crafts Institute in 1996, Jukka has been working as freelance furniture and lighting designer. He also spent one year on an exciting joint initiative with renowned Finnish designer Stefan Lindfors.

Jukka designed the Spring Lamp, winner of the Excellent Swedish Design award in 1999 now featured with the Design Stockholm House design team.
