"I would define my style as one that
transcends the boundaries of styles, inspiration is from many places. I
am interested in integrating organic form with synthetic materials.
This has been one of my explorations with materials and process. I
appreciate when someone really desires to collect my work and it's
outside of their means. That is my motivation to see myself
collaborating with manufacturers," said designer Elizabeth Paige Smith.
Smith, who has been designing furniture and commercial interiors for
over eight years, was raised in the Cayman Islands, moved to the United
States to attend the school of fine arts at Kansas University and
finally settled in California in 1993.
