I have three kitties and bought this hammock/scratching post for them when I moved into a new apartment. My older kitty loves to curl up in it and look out the window. I have had other cat hammocks before, but this is the first one that has gotten daily use. The two younger kitties enjoy the scratching post legs--they had never had a "proper" scratching post, but took to it right away. I would definitely recommend this product--kitties love it, it is a great price, and it was super-easy to put together.

I volunteer at a no-kill cat rescue shelter every week, and we see all kinds of scared, lonely, mistreated kitties coming in on a regular basis. As soon as they lie down in this hammock, they relax and feel safe and contented. They look so opposite of when they first came in! I think it's the combination of being able to jump up high while still being in the cage, and being in a bed that truly conforms to their bodies. We have a kitty who used to scratch a lot, but ever since she's been in this hammock she is as sweet as can be. Also today there was a newcomer kitty who was starved for affection. As soon as he got into this hammock, he was happy as a clam! Please, everyone, you have GOT to try this thing out! :-)
