How can I describe Sadie Belle Meade except to say that she was sassy, savvy and so very Sadie. Without a doubt, it was her undeniable spirit and unconditional love that led to the creation of our company, SoSadie.

I have never had a dog like Sadie that tried so hard to speak. She could always tell me what she wanted as well as when and how she wanted it. The products we have created for SoSadie are a reflection of her day-to-day companionship and inspiration. It was through her watchful tutelage that I discovered the capacity to indulge and pamper my most trusted and loyal friend in a way that would delight and amuse.

Sadie passed away September 29, 2003. She was my confidant, my guiding spirit, and my best friend. It was my privilege to share my life with her. She gave me more joy and happiness than ever imaginable.
