One of the primary roles of a veterinarian is the maintenance of comfort and quality of life of pets under their care, as well as the prevention of pain and suffering in these same pets. Danny was born and raised in Calgary received his DVM with great distinction from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in1985 and did his internship at Cornell University from 1985-1989. In 1989 he founded Landing Animal Clinic in Calgary as a general and referral practice. In 1992, Danny completed board certification for the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners as a companion animal specialist-recertified ABVP boards in 2000 by examination.

Danny is also the Medical Director of the C.A.R.E. Centre. As Director, Danny coordinates medical care at the facility and is the liaison between the C.A.R.E. Centre and the referring veterinary community. Danny is responsible for the C.A.R.E. Centre's internship program in addition to the development of student rotations for the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
